Thirty years ago I was a part of the Montessori learning program under Ms. Sam’s instruction for my preschool and kindergarten education. From what I remember I always felt safe and guided through her teaching style and since her son and I grew up together in the Coachella Valley, and continued our higher education at UC Davis. Ms. Sam has been an active member of our community as a teacher in every form, from volunteering for AYSO in Palm Springs and Cathedral City, I’m glad to support her as she continues to enrich the minds of the future generations.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Ms. Sam as part of our child’s educational journey. The positive environment she created in the classroom has made a lasting difference in our son’s life, and we are truly grateful.

Samudra Leitan has a history of volunteering her services to AYSO. For many years in the Cathedral City AYSO region. Most recently with the Palm Springs region in the playground division program. This program is for children who are 3- to 4-year-olds. Her knowledge and ability to work with these children was invaluable to the program. She also assisted with physically impaired children, which demonstrated her exceptional ability to work with all children. She would be a great asset to any program dealing with children.

I’m beyond grateful to have had Ms. Sam as my daughter Isa’s teacher at Montessori School in Palm Springs.
